Another product we bought after our son broke his foot. Alhtough this product says it's for ages 3 and up (implying toddlers), our son is 5 and he's playing with all the time! We were looking for toys that he could play with that encouraged him to sit still since his foot was broken and this was another great choice. Even my 11 yr old sat with him and played tic-tac-toe with him...and if you think finding something they can do togehter is easy, think again! Anyway, it was a great purcahse and I assume even after his foot is all better this will make its way into the van and it'll be a great travel toy! All in all, it was a great purcahse- even for a five year old!!!

I puchased this item for my daughter when she was 2 years old. She was globally delayed (speech, walking, fine/gross motor skills, etc...). Every night of her life, we sat on the couch together and I would draw/write the letters of the alphabet and numbers and she learned to speak those items. Her job was to erase the board when we needed to, of course. She learned how to write her name, READ, add, and draw on this Magnadoodle board. She's 5 years old now and academically beyond the children in her class (K). I credit this to she and I sitting down every night and utilizing this wonderful toy that she took a liking to. This is a wonderful toy and I have recommended it to every person I know who has delayed or developmentally disabled children. Hard work and a toy can make a difference. :o) This is STILL her favorite toy in the house.

I was looking for Kai-Lan stuff for my daughter's birthday and came across this doodler. I got it for her and she's in love with it. She carries it everywhere with her including to bed at night. It's as tough as it says it is. It was accidentally dropped down a flight of stairs and came out without a scratch. She draws every character over and over again. The templates for tracing the show's characters are a little tricky for small children to understand at first but once they understand it's like coloring over the templates it's easy then. The results are worth it. My daughter loves being able to draw the characters and have them look like they do on the show. It's also a great take along toy especially in the car. It provides my daughter a chance to draw what she sees along the way on a long car ride. I highly recommend this doodler.

I bought this for my 20 month old daughter and she loves it! I put hers in the living room so she can have her snacks and watch tv.
It is not hard to put together but it does take screws to go into the plastic. She has sat on top of the table and my son who is 10 sat on top and it held his weight. I wouldn't recommend that all the time though.
So far it is used as a craft/eating table. When she is older I will convert to the drawing side.
I recommend this to all parents with toddlers! :)
